Books are my favorite friends.
Dayna-Kay has often been thought of as a bookworm. As a child, she was often tucked away inside her house reading a book. After having her first child, the childhood dream of writing a book reignited after seeing her little girl's love for books.
One day, her daughter persistently tried to climb on top of the bed at 8 months old. Seeing this, Dayna-Kay came face-to-face with one of her fears and asked, "What if I was like my daughter?" This gave birth to the inspired story of Today I Will Be Brave.
Dayna-Kay is a trained social worker and freelance academic virtual assistant who lives in St. Andrew, Jamaica. One of her greatest desire is to inspire belief in self, and to help others (especially children) to hone and protect the innate gifts of self-confidence, curiosity, and the belief that what they desire is possible.
