Jonathan Y. Tsou

Jonathan Y. Tsou is a Professor of Philosophy, the Marvin and Kathleen Stone Distinguished Professor of Humanities in Medicine and Science, and the Director of the Center for Values in Medicine, Science, and Technology (CVMST) at University of Texas at Dallas. His main areas of research are philosophy of science, philosophy of psychiatry, and history of 20th century philosophy of science. Prior to joining UT Dallas, Dr. Tsou taught at Iowa State University in the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies (2009-2022). Tsou completed his Ph.D. at the University of Chicago in 2008. He was born and raised in Vancouver, BC, Canada.
