Walison Vinicius

Born in Francisco Morato, São Paulo, Walison Vinicius is a Brazilian author, layout designer, proofreader, lyricist, editor, poet, and producer who has been involved in the literary market since the age of fourteen.

With a strong taste for imagining and reinventing worlds, he began his journey in literature during his teenage years, participating in a young authors’ contest in the city of Campinas in 2017. Later, he started using the Wattpad platform, where he published the works "Chuva Negra," "Cartas para o Mundo," and "Gina" in an amateur capacity, along with several short stories between 2019 and 2022. During this period, he also became co-founder and chief editor of the Projeto Mentes Errantes, which aimed to create thematic anthologies in support of authors, offering both e-book and physical versions of their stories.

A literature student and passionate about cinema and television, in 2022, after a hiatus from Mentes Errantes, he worked as an audiovisual producer for various television networks through the digital accessibility company Showcase PRO, serving as a live producer, audio describer, and script annotator. His main client was Rede Globo, where he also freelanced for the Originalidade Project and the Resgate Project on Globoplay, helping to restore several soap operas, series, and miniseries from the network with Closed Caption accessibility.

Attached to the idea of a multiverse connecting his stories, as a short story writer he has released a wide range of tales belonging to what he calls "universes," totaling over 60 stories in different genres and styles.

His first novel, "Construir," was released in 2022, followed by "Desconstruir" the next year, and "Reconstruir" in 2024, completing the work "Gina" independently. In March of the same year, he returned to Projeto Mentes Errantes with a renewed format, publishing more than 20 anthologies with national and international authors through direct editing, culminating in the founding of Editora Perpétuo in mid-August. His work even reached the Rio Bienal 2025.

Meanwhile, in poetry, as a personal challenge, he published annually on his birthday from 2023 to 2025 the works "Fresta da Alma," "Brado do Olhar," and "Farelo de Coração," two of which included original songs edited and posted on YouTube with the help of digital accessibility tools and his mother, who is a musician. In 2025, he also published LGBT short novels "A Estrela que me Amou," "Horizonte de Eventos," and "Um Retrato de Mim," and debuted in the horror genre with "Cacofonia."

Today he lives with his cats and continues developing his multiverse of stories, expanding the dream of writing across all genres and building a future doing what he loves most.
