He holds a PhD from the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) with a summa cum laude doctoral thesis in neuroscience applied to behavior and emotions. He is a researcher and university professor with over 25 years of experience at UCM, Carlos III University of Madrid (UC3M), the National University of Distance Education (UNED), the European University, and ESIC Business & Marketing School. He has published dozens of research articles in scientific journals, as well as at international conferences and in books. He holds nine university degrees.

Accredited as a Contracted PhD Professor and as a Private University Professor by the National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation (ANECA).
