Stefan Due Schmidt

Stefan Due Schmidt is a Danish professional inline and ice long-track speed skater who competed at the Winter Olympic Games in 2018 in Pyeongchang, Korea.

Stefan started his sporting career with inline speed skating back when he was just seven-years old, but later started ice skating in winter as well to chase his Olympic dream on the ice since inline speed skating is not on the Olympic summer programme.

While competing professionally, Stefan has finished his bachelor’s in nutrition and health, and is currently taking a dual-career approach studying a master’s in global health. Stefan is also the host of the podcast "The Due Power Podcast", where he talks with fellow athletes about mindset, experiences, and skills learned from elite sports.
