Jeremy John

Jeremy John is currently ranked as the sixty-second most famous person from Brantford, Ontario. (Look it up. There are a lot.) His first book of short stories came out in 2021 from Dundurn Press. It is called “Robert’s Hill (or the time I pooped my snowsuit) and other Christmas stories. He followed that success with a collection of spooky stories in 2022 called “The Strange Grave of Mikey Dunbar, and Other Stories to Make You Poop Your Pants” (have you noticed the theme yet?). He has now completed what he calls (and only he calls) “The Poop Trilogy” with his latest collection of short stories.

Jeremy John has become known for his live readings of his stories. He is a frequent guest in classrooms, libraries, bookstores and special events. His reading of a story each Christmas has become a beloved tradition on CBC radio - Sudbury, having shared stories from his books as well as unpublished work. He has also become a featured performer at Halloween, including regular appearances at Pumpkinferno as well as several libraries. For these energetic and engaging performances of his original stories he has been called, “the Stuart McLean of a new generation”.

Jeremy lives with his wife and kids, and a dog named Bean that he pretends not to like, in Sudbury, Ontario.
