Drawing deeply on British folk horror, cult cinema and Greek mythology, Rory ffoulkes is an author of supernatural and speculative fiction based in North Yorkshire. His recently released collection of darkly humorous short stories, 'The seen and the unseen', explores the porous boundary between the living and the dead, the consequences of ancestral wrongdoing, liminal spaces and the unsettling persistence of ancient beliefs in modern lives.
