J.S. Davidson (Jan-Sheree Davidson) was born in Ararat, Australia (1987) with a birth defect rarely seen before. Her childhood was filled with countless surgeries, leaving her wheelchair bound for extended periods of time. The surgeries began at the tender age of 10 months and are still ongoing today.

She credits the time spent in wheelchairs as the ' inception of the author within' as she had little else to do but daydream. If only she had known those daydreams would one day manifest themselves into entire worlds, characters, and fill the pages of many books.

Today she continues to live in Australia with her husband of 20 years and her two children. Together they travel the country, explore new places, and are always in search of the road less traveled.

Davidson is noted for saying she draws inspiration from the all the places they've visited and shares her experiences with her follows on social media.
