Hi l am Carmen Vigo and l am a Distance Swimmer.

Apart from time spent in Australia and Africa l have always lived in Cornwall by the sea.l taught myself to swim when l was 6 and have loved it ever since.

Right now l am training for a swim to raise funds for research into Motor Neuron Disease.l aim to raise 100000 pounds.( research is expensive) why MND? Well you must read my book to find out.😉

A SALTY HAT AND I.is my first book , it has all the information l wish l had when l started serious swimming.However a book only about swimming is a very dry read unless you are a swimmer then it is fascinating, so l have included a huge twist of Cornwall with lots of beautiful photos to hopefully appeal to everyone.Have l succeeded? Well maybe you will tell me after you've read my book!
