Diane Klammer

Diane Klammer was born in Sun Valley, California and lives in Boulder, Colorado with her husband. She is a writer, poet, musician, painter therapist and retired biology teacher. She and her husband painted the cover for her second book, Love, Love.

Her grown children live in San Francisco and Alameda, California. Her writing interests include nature, sports and the human condition. Her work had appeared widely in Rattle, Lummox, Pudding, Avocet, Spaces, Iron Velo and others, and in Canada, Australia, Wales, England, Scotland and forthcoming in Ireland, She is bicultural, her mother from Bahia, Brazil and father Scandinavian American. She has a blog on WordPress, Dianeklammerpoetry where you can see images of paintings, photography, songs, stories, essays and poems. Love, Love is her second book after Shooting the Moon. She approaches her work with a spirit of compassion, humor and intimacy. She is grateful for all the writers who have helped her in her writing practice, and for those who write from widely different backgrounds.
