Christophe Medler

Christophe was born and raised in Hillingdon, West London in the UK. He now shares a house near Devizes, Wiltshire and an apartment in Ilfracombe, North Devon with his wife together with their dog Scarlet. In his former life he was an AMP graduate of Harvard Business School and a qualified Accountant.

He worked as a corporate trouble-shooter in the Printing and Publishing Industries. Having retired, it was his then fiancée Lyn, a former Events and Marketing Manager, who encouraged and inspired him to achieve a lifelong ambition to write his first novel, Madrigal, A Closely Guarded Secret. Set against the backcloth of the English Civil War, it was reviewed to critical acclaim.

His second novel, Vengeance for a Fallen Angel, is a murder mystery set in North Devon in the 1960’s with psychological and occult undertones. It is the first of a series featuring Detective Rick McCarthy of North Devon CID.

Christophe has just published BIRTH RIGHT - Secrets of Silence Shadows the second novel in 'The Closely Guarded Secret Series'. It is a historical murder mystery set in Tudor times.

When not writing Christophe is a lover of the arts, history, and the countryside with a passion for fly fishing on the Hampshire, Dorset and Devon chalk streams.
