Dr. Jack T. Ferguson has been in the Gospel Ministry, in one form or another, since 1986. He heard the Gospel for the first time in the summer of 1976, after leaving home and ending up in Florida. However, sadly, he did not put his faith in Christ until May of 1982.
Returning to his boyhood home outside of Chicago in June of 1985, he joined Northwest Bible Baptist Church the next month, where he is still a member.
He surrendered to the call to ministry in March of 1986 and began training as an evangelist that summer.
He holds a Bachelor's degree in Pastoral Theology, (with a Missions Major), a Master's degree in Biblical Theology, a PhD. in Christian Education, and an Honorary Doctor of Divinity in Ministry.
He has served as a pastor, an evangelist, a missionary, a church planter, an a youth worker and an author. He also taught numerous classes in a Bible College, while concurrently serving as the Director of Betesda Children's Home in Mexico.
He presently operates a scripture transportation ministry called 'Gospel Transport', based in South Texas along the Mexican border.
He is married to Gloria, who happens to be his first convert in the Spanish language. They have four children and five grandchildren... so far.
