Thalia Hayden anchors NBC’s “Midday News With Thalia Hayden” from 11am-Noon.

With 20 years in television news, Thalia is a veteran journalist on a mission to help Americans get healthy. She’s the station’s health reporter and frequently volunteers her time to emcee events, moderate panel discussions, and speak in front of crowds. More specifically, Thalia has worked as an emcee or keynote speaker for organizations such as Angel View, Boys & Girls Club of the Desert, Desert Cancer Foundation, Desert AIDS Project, Big Horn Bam, American Heart Association, United Way of the Desert, Palm Springs Animal Shelter, Animal Samaritans, College of the Desert’s Foundation, Mama’s House, Rotary & Women’s Club (of all valley cities) and the list goes on.

Thalia is originally from New Jersey and spent the beginning of her news career working for WNYW and WCBS in New York City. She has written two books, her first titled, “LOCAL CELEB: Addict to Anchor”.
