Mr. Peter Scholes

I am a primary school teacher and driving instructor by day and a single parent to a beautiful little girl the rest of the time.

Writing is an enjoyable hobby of mine when I am not planning lessons or watching my beloved Carlisle United.

I love to write and take myself to all sorts of weird and wonderful places.

'Conscience ' was my first novel -a thriller. My second, 'Once Upon A Time There Was A Man' is a mystery. At the time of writing, this tale has been nominated for entry into the 2024 Booker Prize competition. Fingers and toes crossed!

My third novel, 'With Every Breath' tells the tale of a young girls fight for survival with the help of the whole community.

My most recent book, 'One Last Waltz', is set in an old folks home and follows the lives of the residents and carers.

I have alao written a series of children's books , plays, scripts, poems and educational resources for schools.

I hope it is only a matter of time before publishers and agencies are beating a path to my door. I would very much like to retire early. :-)
