Christine T Leung

Christine T. Leung is passionate about equity and inclusion and knows firsthand how it feels to be told to “go back home.” As a young child of Chinese-Vietnamese immigrants, someone delivered this hurtful line to her and those words have haunted her since. In the wake of COVID-19, xenophobia has reached new heights and she decided to tackle this issue by self-funding and self-publishing her first children’s book to combat the influx of anti-Asian racism. She hopes her books will bring awareness to relevant Asian and Pacific Islander issues and experiences in a child-friendly manner. Christine lives in Northern California with her best-supporting spouse and three wonderful children between ages 5 and 15, who are her source of inspiration.
