John Mahoney

John Mahoney, a native of West Des Moines, Iowa, graduated from the University of Notre Dame in January 2021 with a degree in finance. He played safety for the Fighting Irish from 2017 to 2020 and served as the 2020-2021 President of the Notre Dame Walk-On Players' Union. In 2017, he was named a National High School Scholar-Athlete by the National Football Foundation. He currently resides in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where he is employed as a management consultant.
