I love to sing and write music about my favorite topic — Kids! I started out writing special songs just for little ones. That felt very rewarding. Then through an experience dealing with a school of pre-K cuties, I found my writings skills had blossomed. Helping these little ones during their lunchtime both delighted and frustrated me at the same time. The room was silent. No one was talking about their day. They were not allowed to talk — only eat. My heart went out to them. That led me to write my very first children’s picture book, I Wish I Could Talk All The Time. I was overjoyed by the response I received from parents and their kids. As you know, one thing leads to another. A few years back, I went on vacation with my son and his family. It was full of fun and laughter, drama and suspense. And most of all, lots of cousin time. I realized then, each one of my grandkids’ individual personalities melted into a pretty great family. I thought, I need to write a book about this trip and all the ups and downs of a family together in a foreign country for one whole week! I started writing while I was there and now, a couple of years later, it’s ready for the world to see. Everything in life is in storybook form and so is this book. It’s written for all families to enjoy. It’s a great read for your young reader who loves chapter books. Check it out!
