Imy F. Wax, M.S., LCPC, NBCC, CEP.

Imy Wax is a Psychotherapist, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, National Board-Certified Counselor, Certified Educational Planner, Therapeutic and Educational Consultant and co-author of The K&W Guide to Colleges for Students with Learning Differences. As a consultant, Imy travels extensively throughout the U.S. and internationally, visiting programs, schools, colleges and post-secondary options for children, adolescents, and young adults.

Imy is a frequent guest speaker at professional and parental conferences. She has authored and been quoted in numerous journal articles and conducts workshops for parents and school districts. She is also a wife, mother to four, and grandmother to seven.

Imy is the founder and President of The Aspire Group (www.theaspiregroup.com) and often called upon by mental health professionals and attorneys, assisting them in identifying appropriate education and program alternatives for their clients. Imy and her team continue to be that "objective voice," guiding, supporting, and empowering families in making an informed decision that will secure and enhance their child's future. Imy believes that there should never be a "closed door" to one's Hopes and Dreams and that today is but a stepping-stone to a better tomorrow; and that each child's journey is unique to them.
