Mike Keren

Mike Keren is a practicing clinical psychologist with advanced training in both psychoanalysis and family/couples therapy. He has published professionally in psychology books and journals but his memoir "Four Funerals, No Marriage" is his first foray into creative writing.

When not seeing patients or writing Mike enjoys cooking for others (he throws mean dinner parties), reading and hanging out with his two dogs, Carley and Clyde. He lives with his husband of many years, dividing his time between the suburbs of New Jersey and a rural retreat in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania.

"Four Funerals, No Marriage: A Memoir" has been honored by the Best Independent Book Awards as a Best Memoir for 2022 and by The American Writer's Awards as a best book in the LGBT category for 2021.
