Anke Finger

Anke Finger is Professor of Media and German Studies and of Comparative Literary and Cultural Studies at the University of Connecticut (USA). She teaches, lectures, and publishes widely at the intersection of art, media and cultures, on comparative modernism and on digital scholarship. Specialities include the work of Vilém Flusser, the idea of the total work of art, Expressionism, and intercultural awareness. Anke Finger's most recent books are "Women in German Expressionism: Gender, Sexuality, Activism" (with Julie Shoults) and "Bias, Belief and Conviction in an Age of Fake Facts" (with Manuela Wagner).
