Shakira A. Wright obtained a Masters of Arts Degree in Communication Studies, is a former community college instructor, and has worked in Corporate America. Today, Wright is a full-time writer. I'm happily married (almost 15 years) and the mother of 3 creative children. Our life has been one beautiful surprise. I wouldn't have it any other way. There's always something for us to talk about and plenty of love. In addition to creating content, I'm a beloved tea drinker, and yoga enthusiast. I've also been known to watch a documentary (or two).

I believe everyone is capable of leaving a legacy in the hearts of people so I live by example. I write with the intention of supporting someone else's growth. If you read my books and learn something useful, then I’ve accomplished my aspiration. I intentionally share the lessons I've learned, in hopes of improving peoples lives.
