Emma Mylrea

Emma was born in Manchester and grew up in Surrey and the Peak District. Always lost in a book, she went on to study English Literature at The University of Manchester and on the Erasmus programme at the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona. These days, Emma divides her time between writing and teaching. She lives in Manchester with her husband, two children, two dogs, cat and hamster. Curse of the Dearmad is Emma’s first Middle Grade novel for children aged 9+
