Stephanie Carter

Stephanie Carter is a first-time author with a background in Civil Engineering. She resides in California’s Inland Empire with her mothers, two younger sisters and two nephews.

Stephanie’s passion for writing began as a young girl in high school where she learned about the art and movement of writing poetry and essays. It has always been a goal of hers to publish a book that would make a meaningful impact. From this desire was born To Love Me is to Love the Skin I’m In.

It is Stephanie’s hope that after reading her book, it will help young kids appreciate their natural beauty and know their achievements are not limited by the way they look, as well as to encourage conversation about colorism and self-esteem.
