"Traveling to another part of the world opened up a passion with photography. Photographing people in another culture and in which they live was not only intriguing, but it led me to the inspiration of writing. "

For nearly thirty years, I've listened to audio books, and read stories about different cultures, places, the good times and the bad, and how it stirs my imagination. As I writer, I challenge myself with every book to bring out a vision that only a good story can tell. Being married to a Filipina woman, I only knew about their culture from talking to her or the local Filipino organization in our area. When an opportunity came our way to travel to the Philippines for a vacation, I was all for it. Meeting folks half way around the world, I felt as though I knew them my whole life. I saw firsthand how proud the Filipinos are. They work relentless amounts of hours on their jobs so they can provide for their families. As a photographer, I was able to capture many different aspects of their lives. When returning home, and reviewing the images, I saw the story "Miracles Are Chosen" come to life. So for those moments of listening, reading, and experiencing the world in which they live, I am truly grateful to see and be a part of another culture on our planet.
