Jules is originally from Montana, and graduated in Graphic Design from Montana State University, Bozeman. She still hikes and snow skis, but traded pine needles, for cactus needles, and dropped her suitcase in Phoenix, Arizona.

Currently, she works in acrylic, ink, watercolor, charcoal, colored pencils, collage, or a mixture of mediums. She paints whimsical paintings, mainly of dogs and flowers, and abstracts, but also paints realistic. She has a line of prints, cards, calendars, and also mugs for furry rescues.

"Getting Your Magic Back" is a book that she wrote about her journey when going through her divorce. However, it has also been meaningful to people with substance abuse, or an illness. She illustrated her book with her abstract paintings, because she felt they exuded her emotion. It is a kick-ass book about pushing through life's transitions, and is a simple, two lines per page, read. Jules donated copies of her book to a women's organization called, "Fresh Start Women's Foundation". They help women who help themselves and provide them with education, resources, and support. She also writes quirky, short stories, and draws an image to accompany it. They are mostly about women.

Rescue organizations are dear to her heart. Jules donates her art to various rescue organizations, and also does commissioned work. She was Arizona Animal Welfare League's featured artist during 2018, and the featured artist the past six years for Shemer Art Center & Museum's "Furry Friends" event. One of her paintings, "Lenny" with the cat on his head, was part of a juried show for Arizona Artists Guild and displayed at the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. She also has two paintings, "Hope" and "Joy" permanently displayed at the Phoenix Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center.
