Albert Sewell

Alim M. Bey, A.K.A. Albert E. Sewell, is an African descendant native born American from the Sovereign State of Maryland and having his domicile presently in the Sovereign State of North Carolina. Mr. Bey is a talented writer and has been blessed with the gift of expressions through poetry. He has written a collection of poems about his experiences in addition to his feelings. These writings have been inspired by what he has seen and felt throughout the liberalist of his life, starting with his childhood up to and including adulthood. His thoughts and feelings are quite ordinary, yet his work is unique and thought provoking. His style of writing is simple, straight forward and allows for the reader to understand what is being said. Through the gift of writing, I have learned to express my thoughts and ideas in a manner of being understood. And as this is so, sometimes the thoughts come around twice. I have tried hard not allowing the negative thoughts or crazy ideals to interfere with anything meaningful and productive. While being in the acceptance of life's dwellings, do not allow yourself to come up short. Each and everyone of us have been given a gift at the time of conception and birth and from that gift we must learn to be positive and whatever the aspirations we must do our best.
