K.B. Brown

K. B. Brown embarked on his second career as an author in 2014 with Sleeping in Trees, a humorous memoir chronicling his escapades as a young boy in the 1960s. He and a crew of nine pals used imagination, creativity and verve to make life a bit more interesting and entertaining as they came of age in suburban south Miami. More recently, inspired by walks in the preserves of southwest Florida, his novel, Elliott’s Wood sprang out as a celebration of exuberant youth, the staggering natural beauty of this land and the wonder of the complex, interwoven world man, beast and the environment must share. Diamond Drone was next, inspired by a birthday drone that he nose dived into the Myakka River. His latest novel, Cha Cha and the Caper Chocolat, has a cast of characters careening around the globe, from Brussels to Miami and the Caribbean island of Saint Lucia in an effort to dominate the world of chocolate confections.
