Karen Daniels grew up in the early 80s in apartheid South Africa. She has travelled an arduous journey that has transformed her into who she is today: a successful career woman, mother, life coach and author. She found herself head of their household at the age of 15, responsible for her family and working a 9 to 5 job. Just as she hit 18, the system collapsed and her next 2 decades were spent surviving the chaos and uncertainty of a country in the throes of rebirth. In this deeply personal memoir, A Dangerous Love, Karen tells her story of being a young naïve girl from a sheltered life who falls in love with and marries the man of her dreams, and of a love that turns to obsession and violence.
She has enjoyed a stellar career which has lead her to many countries across the globe working for multinationals in the oil and gas and alcohol beverage industry respectively. More recently she has spent time in Lagos, Nigeria, where she lived with her family for 3 years on assignment. Despite her rise to success from the ashes of her early life, she is humble and open, and people are naturally drawn to her positive energy. Karen lives in Amsterdam with her young twins. Here, she realises her passion for helping others reach their full potential.
