Dr. Raphael Sam Koopman

Born and raised as a Pastor’s son, Raphael Samuel grew up shielded from a lot of what was occurring in the world outside. Becoming aware of a call upon his life at a young age, he committed his life to Christ and eventually pursuit theological studies after school.

He got married and tragically lost his wife when she suddenly transitioned seven years later leaving behind two cute sons. Raphael remarried after five and a half years and the family lived in the Western cape, all the time being fulltime in Ministry.

Sadly Doctor Raphael Koopman heard the news of his firstborn son’s transition into Glory in November 2020, just days before Darian would turn 24 and also two years before his LLB graduation. This was quite a tragic blow. Same year Raphael got awarded three Doctorates.

He now stays with his family in the Western Cape, on intinerant Ministry as well as asking and writing about the tough questions of life.
