The author spent the early years of his life in Melbourne, Victoria in Australia. He then moved to Port Douglas in North Queensland in the 1960’s and is the adopted son of a Torres Strait Island Elder. After spending time in the Torres Strait he moved to Sydney and after that, the Blue Mountains and beyond.
