Currently working on the seventh book in the SOPHIE BURGOYNE SERIES.

Set in 1920s Britain, the series follows the exploits of Sophie Burgoyne, who besides running her agency, finds time for investigating murders, spying, and other interesting pastimes.

Raised and educated in Britain, living in Canada, GJ likes dogs, cats, gardens, pretty scenery, and good food - a little too much of the latter, sometimes.

BRENT UMBER SERIES - All books can be read as a stand-alone, but it is highly recommended they be read in order so that the character development can be fully appreciated.

The series is set in a fictionalized America because the flow of the narrative demanded that it could not be set anywhere else in the world. Not being an American, GJ could never pretend to be one without making numerous faux pas. Think of the story as being set in America and told by a British-Canadian narrator. The Look Inside showcases the tone and setting.
