Carroll J Stephens

Carroll and I are identical twin brothers. After graduation from high school, in a small rural Missouri town, Carroll and I joined the Army. He served with distinction for 3 years, a year in Korea along the DMZ and two years as a paratrooper in the 101st Airborne Division at Fort Campbell, Ky. After an honorable discharge from the Army while working days he attended night college where he obtained a BSBA. He was also an avid skydiver completing several hundred Parachute jumps. He always had an interest and love for horses, so he decided to try and raise quality bread quarter horses. He bread and raised pedigree quarter horses for many years which inspired his writing of this book. Two of his colts became world champions in the American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA). Several are in the AQHA record books. After 35 years of being employed by a major manufacturer he retired as a manager and devoted more of his time to writing this book which took 10 years to complete. He was in the process of publishing this book, but he died before he got it published. I am having his book published in his memory.
