Cam Seamus

Cam spent a memorable part of his youth in Dana Point, California. He attributes his love of the water to those formative teen years wandering around the harbor. After building a successful career in sales and leadership, he took a two-year sabbatical to rearrange his life to what he considered to be “more-perfect priorities”.

Cam learned to sail in 1983 at a U.S. Navy recreational sailing program while serving in the United States Marines. He was instantly hooked, and bought a 12’ Hobie Mono-Cat. Since then, he has sailed all over the United States, the Mediterranean, and the South Pacific. He is a licensed Captain and Sailing Instructor.

He resides in Southern California, with his wife and sailing dog Jack, where he continues to work on The Captain, a fictional series following Captain Jack Kelly. Most weekends, he can be found sailing off the coast of San Diego.
