Carla Thomason has lived most of her life in the shadows. As the baby and only girl for six years, she was spoiled by her parents and other family members. As third child of four, she felt as if she had lost her place and her identity. As relationships changed with birth order, Thomason moved to the back; sometimes voluntarily, sometimes involuntarily, and other times out of necessity. Although she has accomplished some goals, she spent the most time helping others fulfill their dreams because it made her happy. But something was missing. She did not feel accomplished. The legacy she desired to leave her children had been forgotten. After remembering and facing her childhood traumas, Thomason experienced a dam break in her mind. Dreams, ideas, business plans, and disregarded creativity surged forth. Challenges have come but the determination to live unapologetically now prevails. Thomason breathes new life. She inhales potential and exhales plans for the future; not just her own but all those connected to her.
