R J Whittaker

RJ Whittaker was born in the UK but she got lost one day and now lives a few miles away in Australia. She learned to read long before you did, so you probably have some catching up to do. If you like books as much as she does, you’ll enjoy her books about a monkey called Pom Pom. He came to live with RJ’s family several years ago and has caused so much trouble that she often thinks about running away to get some peace.

If monkeys aren’t your thing – although they really should be – you’ll probably enjoy RJ’s books about people just like you. There’s Hannah Takes The Lead – a story about a girl who lands her dream part in the school play but loses all her friends, and Jasmine Moves In – a story of bullying, cupcakes and sweet revenge.
