Mya Reyes

Mya Reyes is an American author who has visited or lived in forty-two countries on six continents. To expose children to the value of experiencing cultures different than their own, she created CLUB US, a thirteen-book middle grade series that takes readers on missions to prevent life-threatening disasters around the globe.

The author brings a unique, international background to the CLUB US series that is demonstrated by her authentic descriptions of the thrills and adventures the characters face in each country, the people they meet, and the cultural challenges they must navigate. In addition to learning the value of teamwork, problem solving, and time management, the inclusion of basic language phrases, historical references, and cross-cultural and cross-generational interactions set this series apart.

Mya has a degree in French literature and speaks French, Spanish and Italian. She has one husband, is the mother of two amazing children, Mario and Valentina (both born in Italy), and best friend to four super-cute Chinese Crested pups, Diesel, Beau, Monster, and Bella.
