LaRue Ramey

LaRue Ramey is a passionate self-published children's book author from Nashville, Tennessee, who was born and raised in Delaware. She has never let her grand ambitions be limited by her surroundings, and after graduating college, LaRue set out to advocate for youth and share her faith by writing children's books. This commitment to serve God and to help others was the driving force behind her founding of the Once A Dream Foundation (OADF), a nonprofit organization that works to provide educational resources to youth from underserved communities.

In 2020, LaRue launched OAD Publications as a for-profit sister company to OADF. Through this entity she markets her books and donates a portion of the proceeds back to her nonprofit organization. LaRue believes that everyone has a purpose, and she lives by the motto: "It's a great day to be alive!"
