Who is David Shepherd? Born into a world known as third class or poor country, with all aspects of life seemly hunting him down and crippling him from rising as a child. Against all odds, nature favored him and David Shepherd growing up in the country side of Ghana formerly Gold Coast took his reading very seriously even as a child, country sides are full of trees and parks and bushes and this, Shepherd took it as an opportunity to study nature discovering that learning does not only come from the classroom and that there are professional teachers that nature provides and at times one does not need to sit in the confines of laid blocks and a roof to acquire knowledge. I discovered nature itself is an institution with many qualified tutors ready to impart knowledge at no fee and only the observer can understand it, and that the birds and the bees and the streams and the trees and the smooth air are only the classmates in this institution. I took upon myself and reasoned with nature, l wrote poems and stories and shared with loved ones and story lovers. Growing up as an African youth living in the diaspora and meeting new people and seeing different cultures and studying in different institutions, this was when the new face of the African literature was birthed and I have caved all my writings under the new face of the African literature in one big summary called the Africanmentary. But Tetonte Tetonte guys, I have only begun the journey but with the Almighty I know I will cross the border and author many books to satisfy the human race and quench their thirst for good timely stories.
