J. K. Grueber

J. K. Grueber has a long-term romance with all things paranormal. From living in a haunted house to sharing lively jaunts through graveyards alongside fellow ghost hunters, she's explored the world of parapsychology. With more than her share of odd experiences often reflected in her novels, she treads a fine line between fact and fiction.

However, the influence of rural living radiates throughout J. K. Grueber’s novels as she was born and raised in a small town in Western Pennsylvania. Even though she lived within spitting distance of Pittsburgh, most of her escapades involved farm country and horses—a lifestyle she continues to embrace. Presently, she and her husband, Steve, live on a small horse farm in Northeast Ohio, where she tends to twenty-plus Quarter Horses and Thoroughbreds along with two Great Pyrenees, a dozen ducks, and a plethora of cats. She divides her time between writing paranormal mysteries (with a touch of romance) and breeding, training, and racing Thoroughbreds which has shaped the twists and turns in the MacDade Brothers Mysteries.

She is looking forward to sharing many new adventures of The Envy Series, The MacDade Brothers Mysteries, The Vampire Tales, and more with her readers in 2025 but until then . . .

“May all of your mysteries have happy endings!” J. K. Grueber
