Jordan Salama

Jordan Salama is a contributing writer at The New Yorker, where he has written about migration, culture, and the environment in the Americas. He is the author of two books: Every Day the River Changes, a Kirkus Reviews Best Book of 2021, and Stranger in the Desert: A Family Story (2024). His essays and stories have also appeared in New York Magazine, National Geographic, The New York Times and many other publications.
