Valjean McCray

Valjean McCray has worked in Early Childhood Education for over 30 years. She holds a Master Degree in Human Development with a specialization in Leadership and Supervision from Pacific Oaks College in Pasadena California. Growing up in the city of Compton California she is a daycare provider for McCray Family Childcare dba "Education Station", located in Compton. She has been married for 19 years and has a family of 6 grown children and a member of Southern Baptist Church located in Los Angeles.

She believes play is a necessary part of a child's development.
