Eris Marriott is a fantasy author living in Virginia with her menagerie of animals. She loves wiener dogs, saddlebreds, and any manner of creature that looks cute and noodly.

She writes immersive fantasy novels that typically exist in the same world; she has been working on building her universe and magic system since she was fourteen years old.

Author of the Tales of the Shadow Folk and Tales of the Selyento, Eris specializes in tugging heart strings, weaving together mystery, suspense, and magic, as well as keeping you on your toes with every turn of the page.

From young girls who are discovering themselves to battle-hardened warriors who can save themselves, Eris has something for everyone in the various series she's developing.

Outside of writing, she loves to go horseback riding, running, crocheting, and, of course, reading. It's "research," after all, right? (Really an excuse to get lost in more worlds of make believe).
