Nadina Popoviciu

Nadina Popoviciu is a Transylvanian-born writer and statistician who graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a double major in statistics and decision science. She has traveled around the world, engaging in leadership conferences from Minnesota to Malaysia, service projects through her church and the International Orthodox Christian Charities, and exploring new places with family and friends.

Despite her varying interests and accomplishments, she still makes efforts to stay in touch with her Romanian heritage, through its language, culture, and history — leading her to write her first fantasy novel based on her and her family’s experiences, A Return to the Ashes, and its sequel, In the Frigid Ruins. She currently lives in Texas with her husband and children.
