Zach Zeis

Zach Zeis grew up in Spokane, Washington. He moved to Seattle to attend the University of Washington, where he studied Mechanical Engineering. An engineer by trade, Zach just recently began writing children's books.

Zach loves reading books to his two children! During the countless hours he has spent reading books to them, he was inspired to write some stories of his own. For his first book, Zoochini, Zach teamed up with his dad (Daryl Zeis). Daryl created the Zoochini illustrations before Zach was born, and throughout his life Zach has loved looking at them! One day the thought occurred to him to write a story to go along with his dad's illustrations, and the rest is history.

Zach lives in the greater Seattle area with his wife, Wendy, and his two kids, Benjamin and Ruby.
