Plammoottil V. Cherian, is a retired professor after fifty years of academic career in research and teaching. He received his PhD in life sciences from Indiana State University with specialization in microbiology, immunology, parasitology, and cell biology. After postdoctoral training at the University of Pennsylvania, he was on the faculty in the Department of Medicine at University of Pennsylvania and later in the department of Medicine at the University of Michigan in Ann Abor as a Research Scientist and Professor. Passionate about teaching and helping students, he devoted full time to teaching before retiring from Saginaw Valley State University in Michigan. He is the author of nearly forty peer-reviewed scientific articles and numerous panel presentations. Dr. Cherian was fascinated by the theory of evolution in his early teaching career, but his interest in the concept faded and finally evaporated as he gained knowledge of the fine structure of cellular machinery and the complexities of life and the vastness of the cosmos with all its visible and invisible hosts. He has provided irrefutable evidence from science that unguided cosmic evolution and abiogenesis are impossible, and the universe, life and species must have been caused to originate by Divine Design which he elaborately described in the latest book, “Origins of the Universe, Life and Species” (2018 ISBN ).
Unusual for a biological scientist he pursued theological training and received his Master of Divinity degree. With a mind of Isaac Newton, he examines the Scriptures daily to correlate the world events and scientific developments with Biblical prophecies. He interprets Biblical doctrines unbiased and presents them with new insights truthfully. With scientific evidences and world events proving Biblical prophecies, Dr. Cherian believes that the universe is gyrating at an incredible speed to its final days to a cataclysmic end of the Grace Age. He teaches and speaks in churches and Christian conferences.
About His Books
Dr. Cherian’s books are not novels, science fiction or political claptrap but real facts of truth that happen in the world in almost all nations, including our nation the United States of America. For the last fifty years he has been analyzing constantly the world affairs and the political dialogue in nations and finds that the political bickering and hyperpolarization by political parties, hypocrisy, dishonesty and masking truth is dangerous to the wellbeing of any nation.
The world has seen a rapid deterioration of civility and honesty almost everywhere and he believes it is caused by a strong delusion, assign of end time warned by Apostle Paul in 2 Thessalonians 2:3-10. With his theological understanding he believes that the rider on the white horse, the Antichrist (Rev. 6:1-3) is on the loose, and the appearance of the first Beast (Rev. 13:1-4) and the second Beast (Rev. 13:11-15; 16:13) are evidently appearing as the nations are rejecting God and operates without moral conviction, even in nations that are founded on Judeo-Christian doctrines.
Unlike many other writers, Dr. Cherian is not afraid to quote biblical passages extensively in chapters as they seem fit appropriate for the points being described. The verses are incorporated in full, hoping if the readers may fully understand the contextual points that carry instructions, promise of blessings as well as warnings of consequences. The verses are quoted in their tone and tenor without any change of their prophetic nature or minimize their exhortative power as it would be a grave violation of eternal warning not to add or delete even a stroke from the Word of God (Revelation. 22:18,19). Verses are quoted so that they can understand point and the correlation of the truth, as may do not always carry a Bible with them handy.
His books are mostly analytical readings discussing the moral crisis of the world. They are mostly faith based analyses of the current affairs of the world urging the nations to seek God. From his theological understanding he connects daily world events, relating biblical prophecies that are being fulfilled at the present time. He sees scientific evidences of “changes in the sun, the moon, and the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, and the sea and the waves roaring around the world” as a sure sign of end times (Luke 21:25) and calls world and church leaders to be true watchmen of their nations at this time.
