Doug Brode

Doug Brode is the author of five novels, most notably the acclaimed SHELLI: Synthetic Crimes series, a fusion of science fiction mystery, cyberpunk thriller, and police procedural, exploring the line between humans and androids. He also wrote The Ship Saga, a sci-fi horror trilogy blending UFO conspiracy, time travel, psychological suspense, and the cinematic tension of classic 80s and 90s science fiction such as The Thing and The X-Files.

A veteran of the film industry, Brode created HBO/Cinemax’s Forbidden Science and worked as a storyboard and concept artist on Star Trek, Iron Man, Thor, Looper, Planet of the Apes, Van Helsing, Men in Black: International, among many others. He lives in California with his wife, Pamela, and their two children.
