Matt Jurek

CHIEF MASTER SERGEANT MATTHEW C. JUREK

Chief Master Sergeant Matthew C. Jurek last served as the Superintendent, 691st ISR Group. He was responsible for the morale, welfare, training, and development of 950 enlisted Airmen across three squadrons and 12 operating locations spanning the globe, and served as the principle advisor to the group commander. Chief Jurek was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas and joined the Air Force in November 1997. His background includes numerous operational and leadership roles at squadron, operating location, joint, and wing levels as a signals intelligence analyst, technical training instructor, instructor supervisor, non-commissioned officer in charge, program manager, flight chief, operations superintendent, functional manager, and squadron superintendent. He has been stationed at locations in Georgia, Texas, South Korea, Colorado, and Maryland. In his previous position, he served as the Superintendent of the 94th Intelligence Squadron at Fort Meade, Maryland. Chief Jurek is married to the former Maria Elena Zaragoza, of Universal City, Texas. They have two children, Madison, 18, and Luke, 11.
