Dr. Stephanie Krol is a multi-award-winning author, higher-education and real estate strategist, publishing architect, and functional medicine–based pet health expert. She designs systems—whether for pets, authors, schools, or brokers—that are built to perform in the real world, not just sound good on paper.
Holding a Doctorate in Education, Dr. Krol spent years as a dean for for-profit allied health schools, professor, curriculum and training developer, and turnaround specialist for struggling programs. Today, she co-owns a nationwide real estate school and real estate referral brokerage and runs a boutique publishing and digital strategy company that helps authors and experts protect their intellectual property, publish to professional standards, and build the business behind their books.
When her own dog’s health collapsed and conventional options failed, she used functional medicine principles and species-appropriate feeding to bring him back from the brink. That experience became a repeatable protocol: giving pet parents clear, research-backed strategies to reverse disease, reduce pain, and dramatically improve their animals’ quality of life—starting with what they put in and on them every single day.
Her flagship book, What the Pet Food Industry Is Not Telling You: Developing Good Practices for a Healthier Dog, translates that journey into a practical, step-by-step system for dog owners. The book has earned 11 national awards, 1 international award, and 1 global award (2024), positioning Dr. Krol as a standards-setter in species-appropriate feeding and canine wellness.
Beyond pet health, Dr. Krol writes and builds frameworks for how people learn and work:
Illinois Real Estate License Law and Principles reflects more than two decades of real estate experience and her commitment to clear, actionable education for Illinois licensees and brokers.
Commonsense and Outcome-Driven Marketing for Authors gives self-published authors a strategy-first approach to platform and campaign design, so their books support specific, measurable goals—not vague “exposure.”
Her formal training includes a Doctorate in Education, a Master’s in Organizational Leadership and Public Administration, and a Bachelor’s in Psychology with minors in Applied English and Communication. She is a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner, Certified Health and Wellbeing Coach, Certified Raw Dog Food Nutrition Specialist, Certified Dog Health Coach, and holds additional certifications in animal behavior. She has been a licensed real estate broker for over twenty-two years in Michigan and more than ten years in Illinois.
Dr. Krol is active in professional communities including the International Association of Canine Professionals, Nonfiction Authors Association, Midwest Independent Publishers Association, Independent Book Publishers Association, Alliance of Independent Authors, and the Marquis Who’s Who Publications Board, where she has been formally recognized for her professional contributions.
As a publishing architect, she operates her own boutique imprint and hybrid services company, helping authors across genres retain control of their intellectual property and build multi-format ecosystems around their ideas—paperbacks, hardcovers, eBooks, audiobooks, and courses—held to high standards of craft and performance.
Across every arena, Dr. Stephanie Krol’s work is anchored in the same throughline: thoughtful protocols, high standards, and compassionate, practical systems that create real, measurable outcomes in health, revenue, and quality of life.
