Rebekah Barnes

Rebekah Barnes is a veteran elementary school teacher who uses creativity and passion to motivate her students by any means possible. She has been known to dress up in costumes and transform her classroom into new worlds to help her students love to learn. She loves coffee, movies, walking, dance, and spending time with her husband and kids, but, most of all, she loves Jesus. Rebekah can identify with the roller coaster ride of motherhood and has journeyed through many loops, turns, and plummets along the way. She is a mom in a blended family and has often felt forgotten and discouraged in motherly roles. Rebekah has used her experiences, and what God has shown her throughout her journey, to encourage other moms that feel forgotten in motherhood. She has obeyed a call on her life to encourage, assist, inspire, and guide “The Forgotten Mom,” so that moms can become empowered to be the mother that God created them to be.
