Bouya Dieye

Born in Senegal, West Africa,

Bouya Dieye, a happily married woman and mother of four children lives in Maryland. As a fluent French speaker, Bouya has travelled extensively to Europe and West Africa to promote girl’s education and advancement. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland, College Park. During her tenure at the University of Maryland College, she has won many debates, wrote many essays about solutions and possible reforms in the criminal justice system. Bouya has also taught creative writing and composition to orphans girls in Senegal. One of her most memorable achievements happened in 2007, when she was asked to write songs for prominent artists.

Bouya is currently working on her third novel, a thriller .
